Frequently Asked Questions
Q - How long does a session last?
A - Anywhere between one to two hours. Typically a regular scheduled session lasts about 1 1/2 hours.
Q - When will I notice improvement?
A - You may notice an improvement immediately and sometimes it may take several sessions. Most soft tissue concerns accumulate over time and will therefore take time to show notable improvement.
Q - Why do I need to inquire with my DVM prior to having body work done on my horse?
A - Your veterinarian needs to clear your horse for massage. Sometimes your vet is in the process of testing your horse's response to a drug or therapy. Outside influences could alter the findings. Other times it is important to alow the tissue time to heal first before attempting massage or other modalities. It is always important that your veterinarian rule out any underlying pathologies and diseases.
Q - Do I carry liability insurance?
A - Yes! It is very important that anyone working on your horse carries this insurance. There are many persons representing themselves as professionals that do not carry insurance. Be aware that this puts your equine's health and your pocketbook at risk.
